Yeah but it's balls are full of sadness, just waiting to be sprayed all over the coffin.
I have no idea where I'm going with this so I'm going to stop.

If you've just joined us, we're talking about the queue to visit our queen lying in state. Thanks.

This is how people behave when something is genuinely ‘once in a lifetime’ - shows how devalued that phrase has become when applied to say a new flavour of Absolut vodka.

It's a historic event. Some people want to feel part of it and pay their respects. That's it really. I get that although the amount of effort and time for such a brief time at the casket seems insane. I’ve never queue more than about 15 minutes for anything though. I’ve heard a few people in the queue and they are the sort that loved the queens speech every year, loved to visit royal sites and all the gossip and probably have a few flags in their house. I’ve never listen to the queens speech once in my life. My parents never had any interest in it and neither did I. Turning up just to be ‘part of it’ If you aren’t someone who loves the royals is a bit odd.

I mean, on that theme - Watching the BBC Ten o'Clock News now, not one of the people in the queue that's been interviewed hasn't been a massive freak.

When all is said and done, we are all going to miss the queue when it's gone. Like they've paved paradise and put up a parking lot.

Time to start a queue to see the queue before it's gone.

I can see The Queue being turned into a Black Mirror episode or some other dystopian style movie at some point.

I’m not sure it even is a “once in a lifetime event”
The sequel will be along before we know it

Everything is a once in a lifetime event, unless you're Bill Murray

If Boris was still in charge, he'd be claiming it as a personal success.
Biggest queue ever.

So something old happened with the live feed. Whilst it was down on the BBC, it was still live on YouTube and now YouTube video has been me private.

It’s up for me and they’re changing the guard. This is when that poor sod fainted so presumably there’s a director with his finger hovvering on the “cut to outside” button

Pity. I really wanted it to reach the 10 mile mark. Didn't even get halfway there.

Queue is actually going down now, people are bored already. They're running four lanes past the coffin now, instead of the two that were running before.*
*Grant Schaaps says four lane running will be fine

Is there a hard shoulder for oldies to break down in? Otherwise there might be a terrible accident.

Much like Woodstock, if you can remember the funeral in 20 years time you weren’t there They dropping acid at the Queen's funeral?
