Just seen that a couple in our NCT group have been in the queue (with 9 month old) since 8am and others in the group saying how jealous they are.
I genuinely don't get it.

These people have taken days off work, probably will run out of phone power and can’t even sit down for very long in that queue.
It would be mean to want it to really piss it down but at the same time I’m curious how many would stay in that queue soaking wet.

In fact Madame Tussauds really missed a trick here. They could have hired their one out and had it on a replica throne beside the coffin. Go and sit with her, have a professional photo done for £15 quid and andrews's your uncle. Give the funeral fund half of that profit and that could have paid for it.

If I remember correctly this is basically what the Americans did with Abraham Lincoln's body except it was on a hot train in the summer and they did it for a full month. |

Statistically a few people in that queue are likely to die whilst in the queue. That’ll really confuse the other queuers.
Do they keep queuing for the queen or just step over the dead body.

Honestly if someone dressed in a beefeater uniform pulled up in a van and knocked on my door saying "I've got the queen's corpse in the back if you er want to come out and just quickly pay your respects" I'd probably tell him I was on a zoom call.
