I have the exact opposite opinion. Fortunately for you, it's not illegal to have a wrong opinion.

I actually really like the Wii, purely in terms of design. Clean, unfussy design, and no bigger than it needed to be. Yeah, it looked great in the stand. The blue glow of the disc drive, expecially when playing ot in the dark made it very cool.

I think I like the US one more is because when Total magazine started hyping the SNES up this is what they kept showing so I was a bit disappointed with the rounded edges etc. In the end I didn't care cos Super Mario World I have an irrational hatred of those parma violet buttons on the US model.

Snes for me.
While I don't have it anymore, the SNES mini is great too, pride of place under my TV.

That cool SNES 3DS reminded me, while the PS4 wasn’t the most aesthetically pleasing console, it did have some good limited edition runs. The Metal Gear 5 and Anniversary ones were very cool.

I liked how my PS4 Slim looked but considering its basically the same basic design the Pro I got to replace it was an absolute brutalist slab of a thing.

The SNES doesn't look bad but it very toy-like. Serious Tomy or V-Tech vibes.

The PSOne might be a goer if it were black. Light-coloured tech is an abomination, only the DC ever made it work.

I wanted the Net Yaroze version so much. Back in the days when I briefly wanted to make games and loved playing the ones people had made on it.

I like the PS4 Pro for looks.
Never owned one, but it is my favourite console design.

The original PS4 (with the matte panel, not the glossy one) is the best playstation design since the very original. I didn't like the rounded off corners of the slim or pro.

I seem to remember the official playstation demo disc gave some of the games away on them but yeah, I felt exactly the same until I realised I didn't have the faintest idea how to make games.

Even the PS5 is growing on me in a Lovercraftian sort of way. Always preferred the 360 in it's original colours too (so long as it was vertical). Plus anything is black just loves the dust. Between the PS4 and the Xbox One, last Gen was like having a couple of dusty old, hidden occult sections of the library tomes under my TV every other week.

The Net Yaroze was one of those systems that your school friends cousin owned but no you couldn't see it. It did look cool though, it was actually had a soft matte finish if I'm not mistaken.
So weird, I was actually thinking about that one really good game Terra Incognita the other day. Turns out unsurprisingly that the guy found work in the industry and worked on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles amongst other stuff

To be fair to the SNES, it was a toy. They're all toys

Psiloc and zagibuIn the flesh the Crimson is far more muted and it is a thing of beauty. When Myraah attacks you will not be spared...ground walking garbage! The Gears 4 and 5 are also lovely. with much love and respect to you both

If we're talking fictional console designs (I know we're not) I've always liked this concept for the "Xbox 720" from a decade ago. The metal trim makes it look stylish, solid, and quietly elegant, and the design is simple. I realise consoles are always built to a cost though, hence consoles never have metal trim, and are essentially a lump of plastic.

I always wanted a PSX. I don't know if its design still holds up, but in the PS2 era, this was the look.
