Anyone playing Druid? Was thinking I would go with a wolf lady when friends finally pick up the game and I play through with them. Played with all the characters up to the end of the prologue and really enjoyed the Druid's rock slam ability. Yeah I'm really enjoying playing as a Druid, I'm using a werewolf and wolves build with maxed out rabies, nice balance of tanky and damage dealing. |

Newbie question: is it best to use aspects right away or wait for higher level gear? Do people just keep transferring them across? If its a good aspect you extracted from gear then use it on your weapon or an amulet. If it's from the codex then use whatever helps your build. You get much higher % aspects in WT3/4 from extractions when you get there, so don't worry too much about using them up in WT 1/2 |

Oh, you can't extract something you imprinted, so if you have a maxed extracted aspect it might be worth holding onto it instead of sticking it into some level 25 gloves or whatever - however, again, and purely anectodally, the maxed stuff seems to drop more in higher difficulties and it's pretty easy to farm Obols to spamgamble, so not something to obsess over

Paragon boards. Fuck this looks more complicated than i expected. Time to read some guides. Do i want intelligence or willpower....no idea

I just wish you could refund all points on paragon boards (unless I've missed something)
It's well worth getting the renown done for each area for the bonus paragon points to start you off. If you can find a group to grind different dungeons with it's actually kind of fun.

Beat Brol last night. Basically the same strat as I did the night before, just spending 20-25 minutes kiting around, dropping poison traps and occasionally getting the odd attack after he has done one of his moves and I had my rogue ulti double up. Incredibly tedious, but got the job done.
Surprised to see that Act 3 still wasn't over after him. After getting Act 2 done in about 3 hours, I was expecting to get the campaign finished in no time at all.

Aye, I'd say definitely best to get the renown done now (level 3 minimum, but no harm in grinding it out to 5)
It'll be a separate stash from the eternal realm, so no sharing.
And yeah, second battlepass tier is just cosmetic by the sounds of it.
I think there's a livestream tomorrow so we'll have a bit more info on seasons then. I'm hoping they introduce some cool seasonal modifiers like D3, but maybe it's a bit early for that kind of thing.

So far, and unless they change their minds (again), the carry overs to season 1 are: The Campaign Unlocked Mounts Stats from Altars of Lilith Renown from discovering the map and Altars of Lilith So doing sidequests and stuff is not going to help your new seasonal character. Seasonal characters are on a different server to the non seasonal, there is no interaction between the two, so you won't have access to any existing stashes, it would kind of defeat the point of a fresh start if you could anyway. |

Any affix that includes 'X action will burn Y% of your resource' or 'ranged attacks can disable potions/evade' can get straight fucked into the sun. Others are a challenge so I'll do them on a lower tier e.g. a travelling shade follows you and explodes. I had one yesterday where it said enemies take 40% less damage from cold. Completely missed that affix and it felt like eons trying to burn down some mobs. |
