There seems to be a fair few people who believe...they have to delete their starting character they have now when seasons go live and they've all performatively made themselves angry about it.

Yeah the more I read the more I think people are confused. Blizzard just need to get out in front with big crayons for the school kids and write in simpler words because it seems lots of issues are being conflated and it's stirring up a mob of morons.
You don't lose any character, they all stay in the eternal realm/ladder and a new seasonal realm is created, as if you've just bought the game but with some carry over progress from eternal.
Seasonal cont is released and is only playable under the seasonal ladder. Don't wanna do it, stay where you are on eternal and wait for the new gear to roll over.
Battle passes are for the season only and is a way to grind out another system to earn shit. It has a paid and free tier and it's not mandatory.
End of season, all your seasonal shit merges into the eternal realm ready for next season.

I think the battle pass is the point of contention and blizz should never have given it away with the higher tier version. Noobs feel entitled to 'their' content but have to partake in a season to get it.
Just allow the first BP to be accessible from eternal during season 1 and it's solved.
We can have seasons how we like and they can fuck off elsewhere

Aye, theres's only one small fix they need to make to shut up the whiners. Allow BP progress for non-seasonals. All other seasonal content should be exclusively for seasonal characters.
They could do with being a bit better at communicating what seasons actually are for the uninitiated, but then reading that would probably be too much effort when they could just be complaining about something instead.

Ive just watched kripps helltides video because I was running around like a headless chicken last night from chest to chest on the map. the BIG! chests are not on the map so I was never going to find them

If you're interested in seasons, start your path to unlocking all 160 Altars of Lilith as soon as possible, it is quite time consuming. There are a number of maps available, I've been using: i.redd.it/mcjgk482127b1.jpgAfter unlocking all 160 you will have enough Renown to reach level 3 in regions instantly in each new season. |

The hell levels are a bit of a step up. I'm level 41, and everything is 43+ and Amber. I can get through it, but only if I really take my time. I *hope* i can get through it anyway - I don't want to have to go away and come back later

I was really looking forward to finishing off the campaign as well  just constantly circling waiting for cooldowns and getting trounced, which is generally shit and not an enjoyable way to play. That's really pissed me off |

Looks like for this character I should have done more side quests as that would help with renown and extra skills. And more rogue dungeons as well for specific class skills.
