Reviewed well, been looking forward to this but has anyone read or seen if it's worth getting on console (PS5/Xbox) or Switch (portable)?

Would've given this a go but MetroGC (who's tastes align closely with mine) were quite apathetic on it.
I've got enough roguelikes to be getting on with; I'll give it a go if it crops up on Gamepass at some point.

Quite liked the Steam demo, but I couldn't find any Switch footage (reliably), nor a Switch-specific review, anywhere earlier, an hour or so ago.

Yeah, I've been hovering over the buy button, but realistically I've got enough of a backlog as it is so can probably wait for it to appear on one of my subs
Shillup kind of sold it to me, though...

Bought it yesterday, apart from a few bugs with freezing scenes it's pretty good, the save system worked during the freeze so restarting lost me no progress.
With game pass I feel better buying random games as I play so many normal and indie games through game pass that I didn't directly buy.

It's pretty brilliant but as you get later I'm the game a few bits start falling apart and it needs a patch. It's a shame as I'm absolutely loving playing it but I'm waiting until it's had a patch now.

I definitely want to get this. Having an Xbox though means I pretty much don't buy games anymore now. I think I've been back on Xbox 18 months and I've only purchased new gotg (which I should have waited as months later it was on game pass) and elden ring. It will come to game pass!! (Or I'll end up getting it in a deep sale.)

It's great, I have to drag myself away. It is a bit buggy though, including an early game-breaker that took me a couple of goes to get around.

I met a nice young lady today, and when I asked her what she did over the weekend she replied "I worked on growing my cult".
This lead to a few moments of confusion before I remembered seeing this thread title and worked out she was talking about a game.

I was looking at some gameplay footage of this on YouTube, as I'd seen it classified as a roguelike of sorts.
From what I watched, it looks as though it's 75% construction and management sim, and 25% dungeon-crawling roguelike - is that about right?

Yep, was a fun game and completed in a week but the xbox version took ages to be patched so fear I missed out a bit.

Thanks, KD. I'd kind of hoped the ratios would be reversed, as I don't think I'm in any way equipped to run a cult, and I'm not sure I'd enjoy trying! Oh, well. |

Having toilets on the third tier of the tech tree is a bit of a pain. It really undercuts what an inspirational servant of the dark I am to spent this much time wiping the arses of my followers.

New expansion coming next week.
Looks like its mainly quality of life stuff from cult management side of the game but hopefully new dungeons too because the management side really plateaued toward the end.

It was really broken at launch and at the end of the game there is a lot going on. I doubt the switch copes well with it.
Brilliant game though.
