Try keeping the group b ones in lower gears and don't feel like you need to use all the acceleration available just because it's there. Makes it abit more manageable!

I'll probably wait until it drops in price, but I loved WRC9. The physics aren't quite as good as DR but I found the stages far more varied and interesting.

Completed the first event, it's been a while since I took part in any.

On the subject of WRC10 I'll be waiting to see how it turns out first. 365 games which I've never ordered from look the cheapest so far on console at least.

I assume with what is essentially just three cars taking part in the real wrc that the game may suffer from a lack of different cars unless the plan is to include older cars from the 90s for example?

Done the 2nd event in Scotland. Be interested to know who is faster than me on the final (8th stage) as I really like that one in various cars and so decided to risk a crash.

yeah I slipped of the stage but managed to drive back up and then on another or maybe even the same I had to reset the car after getting stuck on a rock trying not to crash.

I’ve got an XSX and it looks the same on that as the past gen. I don’t think they’ve got any plans to do a shiny update, they’re probably waiting until they do a new version I reckon.

Yeah it's not great unfortunately. The feedback and wheel physics aren't a patch on DR2 and i preferred actually playing it with the Dualsense. I've heard 10 is better but I haven't tried it.

The thing you'll find with a top end wheel like you've bought is that the game has to have that underlying physics and tire data underneath for it to feel right.

Assetto Corsa is going to be the best you'll feel on the consoles, the feel of driving is amazing but I found it a bit dry and unforgiving. I bought Assetto Corsa Competizione which is supposed to be fantastic but it really struggles on the consoles so I didn't play more than a couple of races. Looking forward to the proper PS5 version soon.

And while its not as full sim as some stuff GT Sport is probably one of the best I've played on the wheel. Feels absolutely fucking brilliant once you're dialed in. Which is why I'm so looking forward to GT7. Like I can't fucking wait.

Oh and if you like F1 the most recent one feels fantastic on the wheel too.

Buy it man- the handling model is really sublime on ACC, though it looks like a bag of rusty spanner’s (helped by putting your console into 1080p befor launching), but there’s a free PS5 update to 4k very soon.

We deliver the Fanatec wheels and I always ask people what they are playing, literally every one of them says AC.

Then a few weeks/months after they get their wheels the mods start arriving for them.
