How many potatoes do you need? Are you starch deficient or something?

A bit of a weird dinner tonight, leftover over lamb curry from the wife (actually no lamb content), a bit french bread and a chickpea/cheese salad thing that had a use-buy date of 17 May, it didn't smell great but didn't taste odd so fingers crossed.π

You're a man who stares death in the face with surprising regularity.

How many potatoes do you need? Are you starch deficient or something? Seems a decent protein to starch to veg ratio to me. Unless you're Jordan Peterson.

You need a lot of carbs to match so much protein. The overall crime is drinking fizzy drinks along with your dinner (cherry pepsi max is the goat though).

I had 5 pre-cooked chicken drumsticks from Sainsbury's and a can of IPA.
Do wonder how I manage to actually live sometimes.

It's certainly not dinner, unless you're a drunk fox.

Tbf chicken drumsticks is a better meal than just a tin of corned beef. Which is a "meal" I've had in the last 6 months.
To add some context, I had a cooked breakfast with bacon, sausage, eggs, mushroom, egg and toast, and at lunch I bought some lamb Shawarma in a naan bread. Didn't really want another big meal. Considered a sandwich or wrap but had already had enough bread-like stuff for the day. And salad just felt utterly fucking pointless.
Do have some soup but wanted something more solid as I'm starting off my four day weekend by drinking too much, so wanted something to soak up the booze.
So pure protein it is.
(I am basically a trash goblin, I admit)

Last night was non-authentic goulash and rice.
Tonight was poached eggs on toast with Heinz beans & sausages, and grated Cheshire cheese on top.
