Needs some potatoes, pasta, couscous and bread to bulk it out a bit.

Pad Thai *and* rice, you're still eating like you're on holiday! Haha. Was for the fish, leftovers are for tomorrow. The plates are small so it wouldn't have been too bad, except for the cake....

I'd destroy those chicken wings though. They were lovely, really spicy, bit sweet and lots of sourness.

I usually prefer my wings separated out. Drumette, wingette, get that annoying wing tip out of there. But then it’s also not quite as satisfying to rip it to pieces that way, so depends on whether you’re in polite company or not I suppose.

Goddammit now I want a big old load of Tokyo hot wings from my local go-to. Or maybe just some gluttonous bucket from Wingstop.

I did not get my wings yesterday so now I’m just making my own. Currently marinating in a mixture of soy sauce, brown sugar, and tapatio, then gonna do two batches, one with Carolina Gold bbq and one with Kansas style.

I can't be doing with wings, pointless sod all meat, I just don't see the point in eating them, no matter how much they've been sexed up.

Veggie sausage sandwiches. The sausages were a bit tasteless, but the texture was on point.

A mildly eclectic dinner here. Bruschetta, with prosciutto wrapped melon. Then pretzel coated cheese curds. Then I had a grilled chicken panzanella and the girlfriend had an Italian sub prepared by Pauly D from Jersey Shore.

Just felt the need to cut it right back for health/ethical reasons.

How much weed have you smoked? None. Although my Monster earlier was on the other side of the recommended date so maybe that did something.

Had another slow cooker jambalaya last night with chicken thighs and chorizo. Definitely going to be a regular thing for me, although weekly is probably a bit excessive given the amount I create.
I just love the convenience of roughly chopping stuff and chucking everybody in the pool at midday and coming back 7-8 hours later to bung some rice in. The smell later in the afternoon is something else!
