All good here, chicken good, guts good! Well no. We know these statements are patently false.

Someone on here recommended Aldi pizza bases, don't know who (sorry) anyway they were pretty good, though after walking into Aldi I remembered why I never shop there (no self service tills), went for a classic, ham and pineapple, yes that's right PINEAPPLE! Delicious.

Here 'classic' refers to the age of the ingredients.

Don't M&S have a Meatzza? Always wanted to try it.
It would have to be in date, obviously.

Hungover after the beer festival yesterday, so down the wanky pub for a massive roast. I paid extra so I could have pork and beef.

It was a bit of a shitshow. Beef overseasoned, pork underseasoned, barely any veg and, unbelievably, no roast potatoes, just some boiled baby spuds. I mean, WTF? That's not really a roast in my book.

Fucking colonies need to know their place imo.
I'm having cheese, biscuits and wine. It's as glorious as it always is. Last indulgence on the last day of my holiday.

Yorkshires were present, but had the texture of crepe paper. Gravy was okay.
Roasts are normally all right down here, had a decent one at a non-wanky pub on Sunday to make up for last week's atocity. But skimpy though.
A common addition here is roast pumpkin, which I'm a bit on the fence about.

It kinda performs the same function as parsnips, so it does make sense. But then again...

Hey don't knock roast pumpkin. It shouldn't be replacing any other element, but it's still great.

Not a big fan of the squash family but roasted butternut pumpkin is pretty good.

It's a paradise compared to everywhere I lived in the UK. And Yorkshires are generally good, just not at this one pub.
