I did feel it would be a lot nicer with a generous coating of mozzarella.

Tibetan dumplings, for some reason theyβve become very popular here in the last couple of years. Trying this place for the first time after a mate recommended , bloody starving

Big ol' roast from the Irish pub. Still not sure about pumpkin and kumara with a roast, but the Yorkshire puddings were on point so it was decent.

Made a heap of risotto last night, so the leftovers are getting the arancini treatment later, quite excited

I love it with a roast, same with pumpkin but they are fairly similar so not sure I'd put both on the plate. Have a whole chook brining for later tonight, wanted to put it in the weber but it's pretty miserable outside.

Butterflied a Turkey for a friendsgiving dinner today. This way only takes 75 min for a 4kg bird, and legs are properly cooked to higher temp than breast, so it is all lovely and moist. imgur.com/a/CI3lsrL

I do not wish to know

Couldn't see a "What's for Breakfast?" thread so... photos.app.goo.gl/4aHSgbWkW4FAGkrB8Some regular salted ones, and some (that were meant to look like Xmas trees) rolled in salted butter, cinnamon and sugar.

Yesterday my wife made the most chocolaty chocolate tart I have ever tasted. It's amazing.

Japanese fried chicken sandwich: photos.app.goo.gl/wkNxMBezMqx3QfD77Chicken thigh marinated in miso paste, then breaded with panko and shallow fried. I also made the bun myself, along with a sort of Japanese ketchup (ketchup, miso, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar). Jummy.

Homemade chicken and leek pie, just divine, taste every bit as good cold later on or reheated the next day. If only the kids could see past fish fingers, beans or pizza they'd love it too.

Corned beef hash. I've not made myself it in ages. Everyone else in the family seems to think I'm eating something disgusting, so I get to eat it over a couple of nights when I do. It was better tonight than last night.

Corned beef hash. I've not made myself it in ages. Everyone else in the family seems to think I'm eating something disgusting, so I get to eat it over a couple of nights when I do. It was better tonight than last night. That was one of our childhood staples. I think it was just mash potatoes mixed throught with cornbeef. Maybe onion, Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste. Baked till crispy on top. I'd definitely eat that, but I think I'd be the only one. I've been doing all the household cooking for a few years now, I'm getting a bit bored of it. It's trying not to cook 5 different meals to keep everyone happy, balanced with trying to get a basic dish I can adapt so that everyone will eat it. Sometimes I think I'm doing well with something like poke bowls with loads of stuff to add on top, but then I notice my youngest leaving the kitchen with a large bowl of rice drowning in siracha sauce and that's it...
