Will give that a go, my boys like the mince home doners. For tzatziki, strain the yoghurt and the cucumber through a muslin cloth before mixing, get as much liquid out as you can. Really improves it.

To be honest no cucumbers will get harmed. Suppose it's more of a garlic sauce when leaving it out.

Making katsu curry this morning, because who doesn't love their flat reeking of onions at 0937 when they're hanging

If anything, the problem is too much ziti.
So with this massive pasta surplus, now is clearly the right time to make dal. Seasoning it with garlic, onion, asafoetida, ginger, chilli powder, fresh chillies, cinnamon and tumeric.
Might make paratha.

Sounds like the opposite of a problem I always find asafoetida a bit heavy handed

There's fucking loads of it, man.
Just a pinch of asafoetida. You need to be careful with that shit. The dal is a bit watery at the moment but it tastes sublime.

Never been a fan of katsu sauce... That does look banging, though.

It's one of the best things I've cooked in ages. I marinated the chicken in miso paste overnight and it was deeply savoury - coated in cornflour, then eggs and panko. Absolutely wonderful.
Slaw was cabbage, carrots, spring onions, rice vinegar and chiu chow chilli oil.
I've got another one in the fridge that I'll make tomorrow and lash up into a sarnie.

Fuck that saltbae guy. The staff at Luger are pretty theatrical though, part of the schtick to be inhospitable

We did a from scratch winter root vegetable pot pie with Red Leicester mash for thanksgiving dinner, and a sweet potato pie for dessert.
It was tasty.
