I reckon there will be repercussions from all this Musk/twitter/riot stuff for social media, and we have the absolute ideal PM to handle this as well with measure and legal clarity. Yeah I think this might the thing that finally gets the ball rolling on regulation and making the head of these companies accountable for the sites they own. The EU will be on board and have been looking to do something for sometime. The events over the last week will accelerate this. On one hand we have a owner openly abusing his position to affect the US election and destabilising a foreign country and on the other you have all companies turning a blind eye on the mental health of, particularly, young girls. And we do nothing about it. It’s insane. |

What’s worse is I suspect many heads of huge companies are just as big a cunt as Musk, they just talk about it with their mates, not the internet.

I just dont understand how he thinks he has a case. People arent obligated to advertise on your platform and i cant see how there are any grounds for going after them for not doing so.

I just deleted my two Twitter accounts. I never went on there other than the odd link on here or from friends. My last posts were years ago on both. I've always hated it. But Musk has made me hate it enough to make the effort to get rid of the thing altogether. I don't want to contribute anything to the cunt, no matter how minuscule.

Trumps come out saying he will have an interview with Elon on Monday. Two people that regardless of their ideologies are annoying to listen to because they can't properly formulate coherent and logical sentence structures. Musk has the Neil Degrasse Tyson ability of making things sound complicated and a bit clever when they aren’t really.
