Did that really need a whole news article, BBC? Maybe they would have normally posted a tweet instead. To be fair, when "this person said a thing on twitter, here is how people reacted on twitter" is worth a journalist's time, twitter being down is pretty significant. |

Designing and testing switchgear is hard, just ask Stockton Rush. That’s why Tesla had to buy their steering columns and other important hardware from 20 year old Mercedes/Ford parts bins. It’s so much cheaper to just put everything on a cheap button or shift it to the centre console while the fanboys go wild over how “clean” it all looks
