Shades of the Mirror’s Edge DLC in there. The shoot/discard mechanic looks interesting! Not sure it’s for me either, but I am intrigued.

It's really very good. Don't be put off by the speedrunning nature of it, it's more of a puzzle game at the end of the day. Although it might be justified to be put off by the visual novel parts if you hate that kind of thing.
