Yeah, I made something of a conscious decision to change a lot of my twitter feed after the referendum and then covid. Too much politics was doing my head in, and was limited on what I could engage in, so made it mostly football and films again.

It was round the clock politics. Even when I didn’t follow any politicians myself, it’s everyone retweeting and replying, and algorithms thinking I wanted to see that shit. Sharing your opinion on current events is cool, but all day every day is unhealthy. |

I definitely don't miss his inexplicable ability to play the victim when you'd call his bullshit out. His inability to recognise racism from East Asian people towards brown people because he was a white guy and he had experienced nothing but great interactions was the last straw for me. Fuck him.
