Serves you right for using piss to clean your armour. Don't judge me there is a cost of living crisis.

Finally got a usable set of dual swords (didn't see any for absolutely ages) and with light armour they make parrying super easy. Barely getting touched going through levels at the moment. Bosses are another matter entirely.

I was a dual swords guy for both Nioh games and wanted to go for them in this but all the ones Ive picked up scale with water which I assume nobody has more than 3 points in.

I am sure you know this, but make sure your agility rating is B or better. I've also seen that weapons have a rating how easy it is to deflect with them, I am not sure what determined it, though.
Isn't that the "Deflect Difficulty %" stat on every weapon? The higher the percentage the easier it gets to deflect with it, or am I getting this wrong?
/won't be the first or the last time to get it wrong...

Yes that's correct.
My son is investing in water. Helps the deflect penalities, increases all ranged stuff, makes stealth way easier and some of the water spells are op. I have 3 in it though. Think I'm 22 wood, 11 fire, 10 metal, 3 earth, 3 water. Or something like that.

I’ve basically been splitting my points 50/50 between Wood and Fire, but feel like I maybe should be focusing in more on one.

Water is good. All the stats have their place. I need to invest more in the one that gives me even more spirit per deflect. Think it's the one tied to weight limit.

I'm using wood and earth. About 12 in wood and 16 or so in Earth I think.
I don't know why. Think it's because my first weapon was a polearm that scaled with Earth so that was pretty much it.

Water may end up being the late game meta stat but I can’t see it being worth putting more than the bare minimum into it while you’re just plugging through the game.

His build videos are usually decent but, yeah, I can’t see how you’d watch an entire let’s play

My favourite by far on soulsbourne games is AfroSenju XL. Just to enjoy his raging. His sekiro and elden ring videos are often hilarious. Some highlights including demon of hatred and Melania.

The only complete let's play I've ever watched was when ENB did a lore heavy walkthrough of Dark Souls. It was so full of awesome info that I treated it like some kind of TV series and watched an episode every other night. It was great.
Oh, actually, and the Prepare to Try guys (now on their own channel RKG) once in a while. They do make me chuckle.

He is a great player at these games but my god so dull. . Now that you mention it, I do feel a bit sleepy while I watch some of his videos, but I always thought it was because I watch them after midnight
Jokes aside, I'd have probably given up on Sekiro if it wasn't for his enthusiastic advise; not that that's finished of course

*Looks at 10 points in water and cries* I'm sure you know you can easily re-spec at the village, right? I'm assuming this is unlocked at some point later? I've only recently been to the village for the first time and didn't find an option to do it. I did find someone who'd lost their key. And fell off some branches.

Yeah, that ability unlocks after a mission (mission 5 I think, not done it myself so far)...

When you are invaded it needs to be more obvious! I was just mod battle with one of those huge hammer wielding things and owning it when out from the side the invader came in swinging with a big axe and got me to about 10% health. I managed to quickly run back to get my last heal in and managed to kill them and the big monster and didn't even need the heal

Just got invaded by someone hacking, he was porting about and invincible. Killed both of my ai that i was trying to bond with as well. Didn't kill me as I just kept running away until he fucked off.
Turned invasions off now which is a shame.

If you turn them off you get NPC invasions every now and then instead, so you’ll still get some action.

Ta. I'm tempted to play when I finish work in an hour or two but am not sure I can face the bull boss, so I might have a go at invading.
