2136 on Rio de Janeiro. The game started to suffer moments of slowdown. I'm still only in the top 15% on that map. Haha

I literally only play LA and I think I'm burnt out on it now. Horrendously addictive game, but I now find the early stages dull, could use one more fast-forward speed but I guess my phone might explode. Maybe I should try a different city.

Definitely worth trying other cities. Some focus more on other hurdles, like multiple rivers, or mountains you need to tunnel through (because motorways can't go over them). Some have some nasty building placement.
The challenges are worth a shout too. They can give you unlimited items or restrict how many roads you can have. It mixes things up nicely.

Gage some tips further above but try to keep early colours on their own dedicated road. E.G don’t cross roads over, if possible.
So I’d have 4-5 different colours all with their own motorway to the homes, not crossing over into other colours.
Won’t last forever but it makes for such a good start, when possible.

Anyone still playing this? I've been distracted from chasing the high scores because I'm still just trying to hit 1000 points on all cities. Its getting harder and harder with each city, but its still good fun trying.

What's the difference between traffic lights and roundabouts? I hardly ever use traffic lights. They seem entirely pointless.

They don't seem to be as effective as they can halt traffic unnecessarily. I never use them.
