Not at the same level or anything, but they had yakuza ties under Yamauchi, so they've always been kind of corrupt.
although yakuza ties sounds cooler than err, journo beheaders, naturally.

No way we'll get an F-Zero game now there's a petrostate in the mix. Fzero diesel edition, the new hover technology relies on Arabic fuel to run. Free advertising for them, there is no way there won't be a new fzero now. |
