I’ll be wading into this come into Wednesday now that I am in the elite and august group of nerds that own all 3 major consoles. Oh well. I’ve got nothing better to do with my time and money so let the jank times roll! Here’s to getting a laser in the knee.

FO4 saves were between 60 and 90mb, so something around there. I would imagine they'd be bigger due to sheer amount of locations. As far as I can tell, most of the locations don't have a great deal of stuff to do on them. Awful lot of sand and rocks tho.

Who cares? It's your last stop for a very long while, be glad it's there, no matter what it's classified as.

Well Starfield can join Cyberpunk 2077 and Mass Effect: Andromeda for "people spawning inside each other like the fucking Philadelphia Experiment"

OK, so I very unhealthily only left the house for short periods this weekend, completely absorbed in this game.
The amount of missions, side quests, faction quests, and general content outside of the main story is almost overwhelming. I am always discovering something new. It doesn't actually feel like I'm making much progress at all.
This game is full of surprises, fucking loving it. Loading screens.....who the fuck cares. This game builds emersion in other ways.
I didn't think any game would top Dead Space Remake for me this year, but if Starfield keeps this up, we may have a contender.

I don't know if user RichyRoo likes the game, he's been very cagey about it. Can anyone confirm?

Anyway, when does this get released on PC Gamepass? I have to balance out this sickening positivity, but I can't until I actually play the thing.

Not yet having played both, I'd almost definitely go for BG3 ten times out of ten.
(which isn't to say that I'll hate this, just that the BG3 style of RPG is more generally appealing to my taste than this style of RPG)

First time I've been excited to get into a game for a very long time. I skipped the stupid money august preview and I'm sat here waiting for it to unlock. I wish I'd taken the week off now.

So people who played both Bg3 or starfield if you could only get one of them? Spent around 2 hours on both (xboxX and ps5) very different games but I would go with BG3 at least based off what I have played Oh Yeah!

So people who played both Bg3 or starfield if you could only get one of them? BG3. I acknowledge that they're completely different games, but it's not even close. If you slapped a different dev name on Starfield you'd see very different reviews, I think.

The impression I get from reading about it, is that it's basically the same kind of thing they've been making for decades now. Which is fine if that's what you want, but I feel like BG3 is pushing the boundaries a little bit more in terms of the medium.

The impression I get about BG3 is that it’s Divinity Original Sin, with a D&D skin. Which in itself is fine, but I wouldn’t call that boundary pushing either.

I think it's a bit more than just a reskin, but whatever. It feels newer than this.

They're both RPGs, they both have a staggering amount of content. It's probably the choice between Sci-Fi and Fantasy more than it's a choice between the games. Both will soak up as much time as you have to give them. For my part, I'm saving BG3 for my Christmas gaming this year because it looks really special. And Sci-Fi > Fantasy.

BG3 is mental, it's absolutely crazy how much there is and how good.
At this point I'm not sure if my pc can even play Starfield, I'll dip my toe into the gamepass version when I get a chance.

The choice should really come down to how much you want to stroke a beard.
If a chin badger is your thing then BG3 will deliver in spades.
If you prefer the smooth crest of a well groomed chin then it’s Starfield for you.

Starfield is better because it's on Xbox, which is the console I have, and it's on Game Pass, which means it's ostensibly free.
(Haven't played either of them)
