Shame. Sometimes it felt like I was the only person on the planet who enjoyed it so it’s not surprising.
That said, it did waste a lot of time with S3 and all that predictive algorithm bullshit when it should have just been ploughing on with the A plot.

Peripheral is very much more of the same, if you miss it. If you stripped all the names from the credits, you’d still know it was Joy and Nolan within the first 10 minutes.

Yeah, it’s not bad. If you liked westworld you’d probably dig this.

I enjoyed season three. Haven’t seen season four yet so hopefully that makes for a reasonable conclusion and we don’t have to wait thirty years for a follow-up movie that’s more a nostalgia special than a finale.

I enjoyed the start of season 3, but it went to shit pretty quickly. I think a side effect of everyone being hosts/clones/whatever was that it became difficult for me to give a shit about what happens to anyone. Because hey, if they die you just bring them back again.
I heard season 4 got better, but I'm probably not going to bother now that they won't get an ending.

Really enjoyed S4 though the ending felt rushed and could have done with an extra episode. The endings good enough to end the story but would have liked that 5th season back in the park even if it was virtual. Pretty funny that the cast members will all still get paid for S5.

I was looking forward to seeing some conclusion to it in a final season but I'm not all that bothered it's done. The first season was excellent but they seemed to be wanting to outwit the audience more than tell a good story with the subsequent ones. They would argue with fans on reddit before S2 apparently and went out of their way to change stuff simply because fans correctly guessed. Sure I read they blamed leaks rather than accept fans correctly guessing stuff. Taking it away from the park in S3 was always a big risk.

I feel like stopping this at the end of Season 1 was a good choice.
Maybe I'll try The Peripheral and do the same.

The Peripheral has the advantage of being based on an existing work.
