No, some of the songs are massive hits in Europe. The one that wins has quite often been number one in some of the charts. I think they said Italys entry has been number one there for 10 weeks. |

It has a weird effect of making you think other countries are weird. "I can't believe that country is weird enough to like this type of music". That's what the people of Azerbaijan were thinking about us when ginger Jesus started singing being a space man. The whole thing feels like a Russian troll to drive Europe further apart.

There were fewer direct rip offs this year, which is something I guess. There's usually about 6 where I'm screaming the exact song they're ripping off. This year there was only 2.
