So no topic on this since the old place: And I've not played this properly in ages but..
Beta for 2 is out today, apparently most people who applied will get in, but they are going to flag accounts gradually, and on the 27th they will operate a scheme where 4 hours of watching partnered streamers will net you a beta flag anyway, there is also a free trial available which is good enough for beta access. This is all PC only at this stage.
Its replacing OW1, if you own that you own 2 (pvp only, pve is a different beast and will be sold at an extra cost, but that's not in this beta)
New stuff
5v5 now (from 6v6), only 1 tank
1 new hero in this beta (more to come in later betas/release)
New game mode (push)
2cp is gone
Game is being readjusted with less shields and cc.
I'm hoping this can be fun again, after years of basically being abandoned.
