That presentation was awful. Too many similar titles put back to back. So many dark and dank looking games. Those colourful indie games in the middle were the highlights. And that one horror game with the scary robot. Everything else, meh.

I'd be more excited about Flashback 2 if the developer were a known quantity, but it seems it's a new studio opened last year, and the director doesn't have a whole lot of great games under his belt despite having been in the industry for decades.

I'm actually curious about the xbox on the tv thing. We are due a new telly and do like a Samsung.
But it's cloud gaming?
Not overly sure how that works or if our internet is good enough.

Yeah it's cloud gaming, just like you can do on your phone now if you want to test it.
However you can wire your TV direct to the router which will be better for latency.

The main show was really poor. I’ve felt as though I’m a becoming a bit bored of video games and that did absolutely nothing for me. The Truman show game looked decent though.
Not going to dunk on Geoff though, obviously filling in a gap left by no E3, but at the end did the day the games aren’t going to be different. Felt very 2012/3 where everything was the same.

May have to investigate when soberer, would it be more taxing than regular online gaming? I couldn't imagine playing on my phone. |

Some games play really well on cloud, things that require quick reflexes like street fighter aren't worth bothering with.

The obvious next step for Sony would be a State of Play based entirely around God of War Ragnarok, if it is indeed going to come out this year; however, I'd be surprised if the were to announce another event so soon after their last one.
Maybe the Xbox showcase will include some multi-platform announcements alongside whatever exclusive stuff they have planned.

If Sony did delay God of War, that would leave only Horizon and Gran Turismo as their only first party exclusives for the year I think. That would be a really quiet year for them.
Edit: and the last of us but that doesn't really count
