It's not a ting in the UK is it? Not sure, we got it for Game of Thrones originally but the content is really good so kept it. The Wire and Soprano's are excellent for a long rewatch too. Dune and stuff. Apparently they are going to incorporate Discovery+ too which can't happen soon enough. Can't figure out how to watch that on our tv as there is no PS app for it.

It's the best. They had a rough start, but they've handled lockdown movies better than everyone, and their original and legacy content is excellent.

Anyone watched True Detective Season 4? Decided to wait for it to finish and see its the highest rated season on RT and just been renewed for a 5th season.

Just binged it. Read lots of comments that it was a return to form from the original series but tbh....meh. It was ok. Fargo accidentally turns up at the The Thing. But not as good as either.

The first episode peaked my interest but it went down hill rapidly. Clichéd imagery, jump scares, red herrings, clumsy call backs to Season 1 and the finale was an avalanche of dumb. No issue with acting just poor writing.
It felt like some one had a ghost story script and it somehow ended up being twisted in a True Detective series.
Seasons 1 and 3 are in a different league.

I quite liked it, but it probably helps that I'm a sucker for an abandoned arctic research station. It's not as good as The Thing (what is?) or that episode of the X Files, but it's pretty good. Reminiscent of Fortitude. The atmosphere is convincing and it plays with audience expectations quite well.
