I've converted the garage into an office/ Warhammer painting studio/Lego room/ man cave. The space is done - just need furniture! I thought it looked a bit garage sized that's partly why I asked. I'm due to have mine started on Monday. Not sure what to do with it with it, but yours looks really smart, I hope mine turns out as well.

The new Blood Bowl doesn't even have a proper astrogranite field! The players are more varied and detailed, but tbh I'm not a big fan of the new style for the human teams.

Went to a toy fair yesterday and instant regret for not picking up the Simpsons sets when they first came out..

Hah yeah, the mark up is insane.
Alot of fans fund their hobby by buying 2 and keeping one to sell on later.

Really surprised they didn't continue on with them! So many potential sets.

I always see discontinued lego sets listed for crazy prices on amazon etc... but I never know if they actually *sell* for those prices, or if the sellers are just chancing their luck.

I guess looking at the 'sold' prices on eBay is the realistic gauge for what stuff's selling for.

I just looked at a few off hand, and none of them seemed to be selling much above RRP. (Hogwarts Express, AT-AT, Millennium Falcon). Maybe it needs more specific selections.

I don't mind going down the used route. I bought the modular cinema for my girlfriend for Christmas for roughly £220. I think you just need to ensure the seller has 100% all the parts (obviously). I might pick up a Simpsons set used if I find a decent price around the £200 mark.

Sweet, that reminded me I gotta try and get hold of the typewriter at a good price before it stops being made.

Yeah, this one has made me decide on also picking up Ecto-1, and I'd like the Burton Batmobile (which I'd intended to buy but it got discontinued without me realising).

Aren't the minifigs going to be too small to see over the dashboard?

I got it the day before lockdown as a fuck it what else am I going to do. I'd like the Ecto-1 too but these are all majorly massive sets.. I can barely fit the Batmobile on the shelf.

If you want a nice car/display model I can highly recommend the creator expert Porsche 911 (10295). Exceptional building experience and the result is small enough to fit on a shelf/desk. Last week I changed it from the Turbo to the Targa version. And if you don't like the 911 then on Rebrickable you can buy the instructions to make a Lamborghini Countach from this set (which I'm still contemplating...)

The Technic Batmobile is a sweet model. It’s got two light bricks in it

I got the 1989 batwing at the end of the year (panic buy when I realised the Batmobile has been retired) and it's still sitting in the delivery box unopened. As much as I love the look of the set, I have absolutely no idea where I'll put it. Big Lego sets aren't a great idea for a small two up two down.
Despite that I still want to get the new Batmobile too.

Love that. Will retire the old ideas one on the shelf. Got a soft spot for it as the Mrs got it, but it's flimsy, blocky and doesn't resemble it greatly.

I debated getting the Delorean next month but I found a very good price for the Kwik-E-Mart...

I just found the Delorean in the bottom of the wardrobe. The mrs bought it me for Christmas and failed at hiding it so it’s now an incredibly expensive Easter present.

After the last few things she got me, she’s a Lego VIP or something and they pushed quite a hard MIMO sell on her for this. And, yeah, it seems to have sold out already.
Since I’m here, here is the cube (excuse the cat hairs. It’s the bane of my life):

I've just built some of the Speed Champions sets - Lamborghini Countach, the 1970 Ferrari 512M and the Merc AMG twin pack of the F1 car and the Project One superhypermegacar. I'd always overlooked them until now, but they're great sets and pretty affordable.
Must. Resist. Collecting. Addiction...

Boxed GW games in the 90s still cost £40-50. I have 3rd edition BB and that was £40. I have a coverted Warhammer Quest in really good condition too (£50 when it first released) Fun fact, as I have a hard memory for GW ripping me off over the years. Blood Bowl 3rd Edition was £30 ![](https://html.scribdassets.com/74vrit864g5qtvsc/images/74-2a4b48acf0.jpg)
