Bit worried about Generation Sex being out in the direct sunlight like this. Men this old, wearing this much leather, in this heat?

I'd never heard of Billy Nomates before I read this www.nme.com/news/music/billy-bragg-glastonbury-billy-nomates-abuse-online-3460366and now I'm listening to some of her stuff on YouTube. It's pretty good! What the hell is wrong with people? If it's just some rockist, puritanical, "She's singing along to a laptop!" shit, who cares? According to the Discogs credits for her albums, she plays guitar, bass, and synth in addition to singing - how is that not 'proper' musicianship?

The Fred Again.. set is worth watching, if you like that kind of thing. It is just him pressing buttons but he does it with such childish glee, it’s very infectious. His Boiler Room set is amazing: m.youtube.com/watch?v=c0-hvjV2A5Y

I’m a dad who listens to 6music but didn’t know I was a #6musicdad, but have listened to a lot of Billy nomates over past year or 2, People are dicks.
Young fathers was aces, especially last 10-15 minutes 10/10.
Gonna check that Fred Again link. Sadly never heard of him before, only just heard of Supreme drops, Love being old.

I think 6 Music Dad is a very specific genre of person. I like Craig Charles show and have a son but I don’t think I’m anymore a #6MusicDad than I am one of The Gamers because I own a Playstation

I neither listen to 6 Music nor have a child, so perhaps I'm not in a position to judge, but I don't think Barrow was referring to either of you fine chaps with that comment.

I always imagine they’re the sort of person whose favourite band is Blur but they say Radiohead and they share angry left-wing memes on social media while being an awful dickhead to any women they encounter online.

Astley is meant to be doing his Smiths set at Woodsies right now but the stream is just showing a hold screen at the moment. Hurry up man, you’re not Morrissey (thankfully)

Fucking hell he's dreadful who thought this was a good idea. This wouldn't make the grade as a local pub tribute band.

Just caught some of the BSL stream with Lewis Capaldi. Fair does - un-edited effing and jeffing included.
The signer is pretty expressive and much easier on my eye than Capaldi too.
Must be the most I've heard of his output. Can't say I'm a fan and it's a bit... bland, but give the fella credit for being himself, and pushing on through the tourettes and the vocal difficulties.

The music has been shite, but Jo Whiley is looking good. I'm so old.

I really enjoyed Astley’s drunk uncle at a wedding set there.
I think Maneskin are doing their Buckcherry tribute set next but we’ll probably have Lizzo on.

Great set from the Manics so far. Good to see design for life dropped in the middle of the set to mix things up a bit.

My partner just massacred all those manics songs, could hear her out in the back of the garden.

Good place to start with the Manics? Must confess I’ve never really listened to them.

Watching Kelis stream. Such a good back catalogue that I'd forgotten about.

There’s no way GnR are going to be good tonight, is there?
This Lizzo set is really good so far.
Apparently GnR replaced a female act who pulled out just before they announced the line-up. This set would make a lot more sense before Pink or Taylor or whoever than before Axl Rose

The band and Slash will be ace. Axl’s voice (especially the midranges) will be shot to buggery…

Chrissie Hynde is still punching on The Park - great that her voice hasn't aged even though she now looks like some mad lifer civil servant.

Honestly Slash and Duff could do worse than lock Axl in his trailer and get Rick Astley to take his place

Johnny Marr just low key sliding back into The Pretenders here. Perhaps he'll nip over to the Pyramid later with Rick.

Watching the Lewis Capaldi highlights now. Its pretty tough seeing how badly he’s struggling with his ticks. I know he’s very popular but he’s having such a rough time I’m almost surprised they chose to re-air this on BBC1.

Nemesis The Holy Bible is my favourite album by some margin, love evwrytbing about it. Probably Everything Must Go after that, but I do have a soft spot for Gold Against the Soul.
