Bizarre that they've put no effort into this considering their usual quality and they're taking so long to come out. Watching my boy play the first track on the turnip cup, looks like shit.

More new tracks tomorrow, going to have a Mario Kart and pizza night with the kids. Looking forward to that. You’ve inspired us to do exactly the same , enjoy

Loving the new (old) tracks. Kalamari Desert and Snowland are my initial favourites. I love the alteration in the desert, but the GBA tracks almost feel like new tracks and they've been fantastically adapted in both waves.
Obviously i think we all wished they looked better. I do feel they are, generally, better looking than wave 1, but not by very much. My only other complaint with these tracks is that they feel small compared to the base game. Laptimes are much shorter and I think that is a minor detriment to the package.

Wave 2 is fairly enjoyable, Kalimari Desert being my personal fave. The other returning tracks are fun, but like Wave 1, feel like a missed opportunity and a downgrade to what's already in the game.
Sydney Sprint is great, New York minute is meh and I'm puzzled by how Sky-high Sundae got in the game in the state its in. It's weirdly floaty, the track is simple but still flows poorly with dodgy camera angles, dodgy jumps and those hand rails giving you a boost is just odd and unintuitive.

I kinda like it. I mean the visuals are pretty flat, which sucks, but the constant ramps obscure the view on purpose. It makes lining up shots more tricky. The permanent anti-grav means you can potentially bump unsuspecting players off the track more easily, though. I think mechanically its an interesting track.

The new DLC is out today! Now I can go back to playing as the greatest character in the series; Wiggler.
