Clearly bugs can be very annoying, lead to crashes or might even end a playthrough. But what cool/noteworthy/funny/weird etc. bugs have you encountered throughout the years? Tell us about them!
Half Life:
I'm not sure what happened here. I might not have done a clean uninstall before reinstalling - but in any case - something quite weird and not a little creepy happened to me once as Dr. Freeman was driving to work in his little tram. At first I didn't pay too much attention and was merely slightly confused why I kept hearing NPC-death sounds. As it turns out every single one of them fell over dead as I was passing by. Towards the end I was admittedly a little creeped out. Once I arrived at my destination the guard walked up to the tram door and then - sure enough - fell over dead.
So there you go. The Black Mesa Incident never happened... because Dr. Freeman unfortunately couldn't get out of the tram and helplessly starved in there, sorry to say.
STALKER - Shadow of Chernobyl:
I have had a few good ones in Stalker, but here's one stand-out: At one point some years ago I was in the 100 Rads-bar talking to the Barkeep about one or the other mission. Suddenly he warps to my side of the bar, breaks off the conversation, turns away and slowly walks back to his place behind the bar. The guard which usually blocks the player from accessing that place even got out of the way for him. Perhaps it was a known issue... but I have only ever seen that happen once in probably hundreds of hours with the game.
Two Worlds 2:
This one is more recent. I had gotten my boat stuck on a beach and didn't know how to get it back into the water. So I eventually just remembered all these cool spells you can make and which often seem to serve no gameplay purpose. Suddenly though I saw a very useful purpose for a Levitate-spell! So I just pick up my boat with the help of a newly made Levitate-spell and try to put it back into the water as it suddenly shoots into the sky so high that I could barely see it anymore. It then proceeded to slowly float back down from there. Took a while, but the game didn't crash and seemed to generally not get that there was something very wrong going on.
