This, Brighton has a similar issue when I lived there. Come the summer you do everything you can to be away. Brighton's great in summer. Just stay away from West Street and the beach between the piers. With my then girlfriend in the late 90s whenever we visited for a beach day we always hung out (not literally) on the gay end of the beach (I think it was the West end) does that still exist - it was a lot more chilled out and less ranty/aggressive than the normal beach and also popular with families.

Nice beach but every time I’ve been it has been rammed with stag and hen dos. The problem with Bournemouth beach is that everyone crowds the main area as that's where all the facilities are, but if you head away from the madness you can find long stretches of quiet beach.

Aye, pretty much the rest of the Dorset coast.

The train to London takes a bit long, but there are two airports nearby. In the summer it seems half the planet go there to learn English, which gives it a bit more of a cosmopolitan vibe. Boscombe is on the verge of gentrification! It has massive Victorian houses and investment. Are you heavily invested in Boscombe real estate?

Haha, no I wish! I don't know how long it will take - but I can still remember when parts of Notting Hill were a no go area and I see similarities. Nice houses and beaches; things will change.

How bloody old are you, Notting hill hasn’t had any no go areas for about 40 years
