Futurama Returns (again)

I still need to watch the second revival. The first revival was okay, but I felt it lacked a certain something.

Yeah, they can bite my shiny metal ass if they think I'm watching with a re-cast Bender.

I don't think I knew there were already two revival series.

I remember really looking forward to the first one when it was announced, having enjoyed pretty much every moment of the original episodes.

And then...I just didn't really enjoy it. I don't even remember why now - it just felt a little flat and artificial somehow.

Hmmm.

The films are awful. I actually thought the revival series were great; some of the episodes are all time classics (such as Murder on the Planet Express, Lethal Inspection, Prisoner of Benda, Calculon 2.0 etc.).

Bit torn on this one as barring the films I thought the quality's been fairly consistent and it ended (multiple times) excellently.

And its not like Disney can pretend they’re too skint to afford the real Bender. Just pay the man and it’ll be the difference between a bomb and show whose audience wants to atay loyal.

I think they own a majority stake, yes.

Wouldn't be surprised it they just hired Castellaneta and make Bender a Homer.

I think so. There are other (in America) Hulu Exclusives on Disney+ and the rest of Futurama is up there Fox and non-Fox seasons.

Note: Bender died on the way back to his home planet.
