Never thought about it but I do know I'd rather have a cremation when the time comes.
A few work colleagues attended a funeral last year and Not a Dry Eye in the House by Meat Loaf was played.

Kings of Leon - King of the Rodeo
Pete and the Pirates - Can't Fish
Slayer - Reign in Blood, repeatedly, until I am fully burned, and on and on and on through the eulogies, and the disappearing act behind the curtain, and the 'sorry for your loss' bit, and the shit buffet, and the playlist that my will states everyone must listen to for a full day or they GET NOTHING*
*HAHAHAHAHHHAAAAAA there's nothing to be had!
AND THEN I SHALL RISE

On Our Own - Bobby Brown, from the Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack Or Ninja Rap - Vanilla Ice, from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 soundtrack Basically any movie sequel song from the 90s will probably work

Ah man haven't listened to The Gathering in a long, long time. How To Measure a Planet? was basically on repeat for ages.

It's like I'm taking the piss but I'm genuinely not. As far as I'm concerned this song is the greatest song ever written.

Scipio by Sky
This is genuinely one of the most uplifting and happy pieces of music ever written. My Dad had the Sky2 album on vinyl and it’s one of the first records I remember listening to as a kid. I still give it a spin every now and again.
FIFO from the same album is worth a go if you like instrumental prog rock.

Can't listen to this without seeing the intro to Ripper

It's the TV series of The Stand for me. It was also the first tune I taught myself on the guitar.

Yup, with Gary Sinise, Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald et al. I was 12 or 13 when it came out and that song is intrinsically tied with not only the TV adaptation, but also the book that I'd just finished reading at the time. My whole life I've been obssessed with horror and my childhood was defined by reading nothing but Stephen King and James Herbert, so I feel like that song is linked to my own identity as well, hence the reason for it being the last one I want to hear.

I usually don't like uplifting music, but this song is pretty rad.

I often think when listening to a song I haven't heard in a while "I wonder if this will be the last time I hear this song" which is why I then start to think what would I want to listen to if I knew it would be the last song I would hear. I'd likely not do that if I only ever listened to a few bands or types of music though.

Funny enough Mum mentioned digging their record player out of the loft last week, so this might get a spin for old times sake.

Probably one of my favourite Radiohead albums. Kid A ends with "I will see you in the next life". In Rainbows is mostly uplifting stuff and the last track is about leaving a message behind for your loved ones. Hell, even the little triangle "ting" sound that ends OK Computer would be a fitting way to go out.

White noise tracks on YouTube so my final moments on earth could be free from fucking tinnitus.
