Julian Cope - Peggy Suicide
Moonage-tastic.
(Not the album cover for Peggy, but a bit more SFW than the original. Nevertheless, it's Peggy playing)

Listened to a lot of Perfect Circle at Uni, this remains one of my favourite tracks

I have reclaimed my living room, booted the kids out and am listening to Back in Black in its entirety with a gin and tonic. Rock and roll.

I used to listen to a lot of perfect circle too. Orestes and Breña were my favorites off that first album. The Noose and Gravity off the second, though Gravity was just Breña Part II.
I always meant to check out their latest album, but it came out so far after the previous ones that they just weren't on my radar anymore. Same with the last Tool album.
I really should give both a listen at some point.

Best Dad. Now you've given them the perfect inspiration to go and make a video on TikTok making fun of Boomer Parents while you get some Back in Black and a G&T. Win-win.

I would absolutely have taken that over the whining in my ear from my son about not being able to watch TV for the last 4 songs.

Music streaming question from a dedicated luddite- which service makes most sense at the moment? I've been totally lazy and have used Amazon music for years, but recently a load of the albums I regularly listen to have dropped off the service, which is pretty bloody annoying. I'm ready to cancel my sub in a fit of pique and try something else, as long as it caters for an eclectic mix of heavy metal, folk and blues, but I've not really kept track of what is available beyond spotify and the internet isn't particularly clear on the issue. What are you using and would you recommend??

There's a bit of talk about streaming choices in the Neil Young tread if you look through

Prince music had always been weird on youtube, as he didn't like his music being uploaded without compensation. Maybe that's been eased a bit by his estate since his passing.
That said, hope region restrictions don't block this for you.
