was cautiously optimistic after watching the first episode, bit slow but got to do all the scene setting i guess. now worried about danno's dire warnings about episode 3

Do not be too quick to comment in judgement. Many shows deserve to be cancelled, but some that have been cancelled deserve to be renewed. Can you renew them, Danno?

I'm kind of on the fence if I actually want to start watching s2 or not. If it doesn't improve massively on s1 then I'm only going to get more annoyed. To anyone that's seen it, does the first episode begin with a grovelling apology from Jeff and a promise to completely ignore everything that happened in s1 and effectively start from scratch?

I watched the first 20 mins of S2 last night and had no idea what was going on...
The dark elf / orc leader character has changed actor which doesn't help, and I also could have sworn blind he got killed in the last series. But here is front and centre....
I'm going to have to do a proper recap on youtube

We took a family vote last night on whether to start this or Kaos. Kaos took it on a landslide. I don’t think we will actually ever get around to watching this.

thought the first series was slow & a bit dull but didn't hate it. After 3 episodes of this series I'm finding it slow but not dull not sure what spooked our danno on 3rd episode, don't think it's too spoilery to note it's a bit spider heavy but CGI spiders can't hurt us it's the real spiders you want to worry about like the one behind you |

Watched all three episodes last night. Fucking loved it, but then I loved the first season too.
There's plenty wrong with the show, but big picture as a huge fan of the books and movies, it's outstanding. The sheer middle-earthness of it all. The sets, score and production are all so on point.
I'm in constant disbelief and awe that this is being delivered to us through the same medium that spawned The Bill. Wish they'd put the first season out on UHD.

I have watched the first 3. First Ep, though nonsensical, made me think it was going to be slightly better than the first season. Next 2 Episodes are truly awful. I read the books, I loved the PJ series. This is somehow worse than season 1.
They'd be more faithful if they called this Lego LOTR.
