On Xbox app, steam, switch you can check how many hours you've played. I'm sure you probably can on PlayStation as well so what's your most played and how many hours?
Mines
1) back 4 blood 49 hours
2) cyberpunk 47 hours
3) sekiro 40 hours
4) halo infinite 34 hours

I don't think you can see that on Playstation - Mine died a couple of months ago anyway so I can't check. Switch has probably been Slay the Spire dominated. I'm guessing about 20 hours (and still haven't got past the level 2 boss)

My total playtime for GTA Online is 50 days (or to be precise, 1207 hours). Fortnite is 25 days. Skyrim is 10 days.
Then on stuff I only started this year:
AssCreed Oranges- 62 hours
Forza Horizon 5- 51 hours
Dark Souls Remastered- 28 hours so far
Unless I'm missing something, I can't see how to get stats for just this year from the XBox app, but I'd like to know that. I suspect Fortnite would beat GTA this year.
Edit- I forgot one:
Hades- 123 hours, easily the most played game that I only started this year

On PS5 you can see hours played for each game under your profile. Not sure this exists on PS4. Not on 4 but Sony do do an end of year wrap up thing on the Playstation website eventually. |

Witcher 3 - 200 hours
BOTW - 180 hours
Hades - 100 hours
Super Mario Odyssey - 50 hours
Slay The Spire - 45 hours
Wish the Switch was a bit more accurate with times but ah well

Returnal, according to the in game clock is 5+ days. Still not beaten it but the gameplay is very satisfying.

I know without looking that it'll be Destiny 2. Played it pretty solidly up until November. No idea how much I've played this year across Steam and Xbox, but I'm up to 1605 hours total according to wastedondestiny.com, which is just fucking bonkers really.
I think 2022 will be the year that I break that habit...
Next would doubtlessly be Persona 5 Royal which was around 80 hours IIRC.

According to Steam, I've spent 875 hours in Destiny 2, though you also gotta add the 1200 hours from back when the game was on Battlenet.
Now, how much of these 2000+ hours were in 2021? Good question.

Cyberpunk - 127hrs (although maybe half last year if not more)
Borderlands 3 120hrs (mostly dlc so maybe only 60hrs this year)
Division 2 + dlc 67 hrs
Forza Horizon 5 - 60hrs
Battlefield 2042 37hrs & counting

Ah, found it! It turns out not all games have the Stats tab. Thanks Mine was slow to load, might be the same issue. I had to wait a good 10-20 seconds to get stats for Hades |

I've played 445.7 hours of New World despite it only releasing on the 28th September. It's not even that good a game, just a perfect storm of a new MMO release with PvP that sucks you into the whole guild thing, trying to keep territory and doing guild runs of high level areas.

My stats show it's easily my lowest time played for many many years. Went months at a time or not really being able to get into anything. I mean two of my most played games are last year that I decided to play again as I couldn't get into new stuff. I imagine Bloodborne might have been in there as well and that was the only game I played on PlayStation all year.

Yakuza 1,2,0,3,4,5,6 done, and am 10 hours into Like a Dragon. So must be over 200 hours there. 5 alone took me 60 hours.
Mass Effect trilogy clocked in at around 100.
Assassins creed valhalla 115
Demon Souls around 80.
