I see Dianne Feinstein has now died.
Not having her retire is some truly shameful shit from the Democrats. Had signed power of attorney over to her daughter yet was still ahem ‘making’ decisions in [edit] the senate.
Hopefully will give McConnell some food for thought on how he wants to spend his remaining years.

They can’t make you retire, it’s one of the persistent bafflements of the US system, lack of term limits, age limits, ways to readily get rid of people medically incapable of doing the job.

So McCarthy managed to pass a stopgap to prevent a shutdown hours before the deadline by getting Democrats on board, meanwhile a Democrat pulled the fire alarm to try and disrupt proceedings. What a total clown show.

He has always spouted rambling nonsense in these speeches, but with this and the previous clips of him going on about starting World War 2 and beating Obama at the election, it does seem like he may actually be losing the plot.

He might not drink alcohol, but I assume he is pumped full of drugs. Maybe I'm wrong, but I assume he has a situation much like Jackson or Elvis, where he has a "doctor" with him at all times ready to prescribe anything he demands.
My guess is we will suddenly hear one day that Trump is dead when his body very abruptly rejects all the shit he stuffs it with. Biden might physically look older, but I feel he is more likely to just keep going.
