Sonic Breath of the Wild? I.. hmmmm.
I guess I'll wait for actual gameplay to pass judgment. For me the biggest issue with 3D Sonic is that they never capture the 2D games' level of exploration. They're usually on rails, where you basically hold up along with the occasional jump or spin dash. The originals gave you a plethora of routes to take. Straight away, up through the sky, underground, bust through walls. Maybe this will solve that? Though it looks incredibly BotW and no so Sonicy in that trailer.
