Aye. Regardless of what happens today, surely another manager chooses a different captain. I think that's where lots of Utd's problems stem from. He doesn't strike me a leader at all and the rest follow his example of being a moaning, diving twat.

Tough one to know which side to support because Klopp going out empty handed is the ideal end to the story but would be good if they were worrying about semi finals down the line.

The issue is that he pivoted pre season to turn us into some weird transitional team. But I've never seen one like it. It basically leaves a canyon in the middle of the pitch and expects half our team to cover the length of the pitch constantly. Wankers like Fernandes don't help of course, but our tactics are absolutely suicidal and it's literally been an issue since Wolves, game 1 of the season. It isn't bad fortune causing us to face 20+ shots per game, it's dreadful, stubborn tactics.

Very Unai that. Was more thinking about the attitude tbh. They just gave up and shrugged 2nd half. But I guess that's nothing new really, Fernandes as captain or not. Probably talking out of my hole.

Some of the players attitudes definitely also stink (we've seen this across various managers) and I think even if Ten Hag were a fully capable manager, at some point they'd let him down. Unfortunately he's been so shite this season it's really hard to look past him.
Liverpool have kinda collapsed here.

There was a deflection I think Yeah but it was early enough to adjust to, arguably. Watching replays it felt like Onana was going where the ball would have been and the deflection knocked him off-balance... YMMV though |

Onana looked at fault for two goals at first but they were both flukey deflections that wrong footed him. Blameless for a change

Yeah he was definitely shifting to the other side for some reason, even though the shot looked pretty central. Was never getting back though.
If anything, at least this has been an entertaining match for a change, bar most of the second half.
