Thank fuck we have a break now, our players are clearly shattered at the moment and the quality just isn't there in the squad to cover. After the break we should have Eriksen and Martial (for a game) which will help a fair bit.

United had 1-2 days, plus McTominay on the pitch so we were always going to struggle. |

Maguire is useless and should be playing for relegation fodder but everybody knows that now. McTominay and a few others are still getting a bit of free pass even though they are just as bad as Maguire.

I didn't see the game yesterday, but since he came back from his layoff, I think he's shown enough to suggest he'll be better than we've seen so far. It's far too early to write him off. Antony, too.
We paid too much for both, but let's not get into the narratives that they're useless just yet (clem notwithstanding, he has his own narratives).

FA investigating Mitrovic for further measures.
A lot of commentary from 'but Bruno' types for the (IMO) pat on the back to get past the linesman.
Mitrovic was bearing down on the ref after the push like a thug outside a nightclub and it looked like he might even swing for him. A big bully. That was worse than even the initial push for me. Anyone comparing that to Bruno Fernandez either just hates United or probably behave like that themselves in real life and don't see a problem with it.

Surely just Fulham fans working through their feelings. One was a snide little cunts nudge and the other probably would have ended with a disembowling if half the Fulham bench hadn't sprinted on to intervene.
I like the suggestion in the BBC article about Mitrovic going down to be a ref in some amateur league and being abused by parents to see what it feels like. Like anyone would argue with him. Refs need to bulk up.

Saw something the other day, where a parent at an under 9s game confronted the 14 year old female ref about a decision (they were in the wrong and predictably didn't understand the rules). I mean, you really should be taking stock of your life if you're doing that.
Haven't been the Mitro thing but book should be thrown at him. Can't do that at all.

Yeah, that's not great. It's perhaps not as bad as some write ups made out but if the ref hadn't backed off, if would have been worse. Plus, if you don't take a hard line, it'll just get worse and give licence for further abuse throughout the pyramid.

Yeah. I love Mac and Reynolds a fair bit but I find it tedious how they're constantly called "Hollywood a list".
Mac has a show that, while successful, most people would even struggle to name. Reynolds may be Deadpool but he needs an ageing Jackman to get the third made.
But they seem genuinely invested in it. But they are the Man City of non league and I can imagine lots of other clubs will be glad to see the back of them.

I think that would’ve worn off pretty quickly with the media coverage treating them like penniless underdogs while the celebrities poured in millions and signed players who had no business dropping to that level. People round here got pissed off at South Shields having a bit of cash a few years back and all they’d signed was a 50 yr old Julio Arca and attracted a load if glory supporters after a run in the Vase
