Casemiro is the best thing that has happened to us in 20 years Not sure about that. The commentator said he’s not very good but we’ve had no one playing in his position so he looks amazing as a result SKY Sports are really taking analysis to the next level at the moment
She specifically said that was not what she meant. Not the most clearly explained piece of analysis but her core point was that he looks even better because we've had absolute turds in there for nigh on 10+ years |

I’ve no idea who the commentator was but it’s unacceptable that they are on a proper game, it was like a teenager on competition win

Easily our best midfielder since Carrick, and probably the best since Scholes or Keane. Cannot get over how good he is and how well he has taken to a new country at his age. Really hope we get 3+ seasons out of him.
Has a big chubby joyous face too which makes him all the more endearing.

There is a fair chance that across his career he is better than any of them but it's an impossible thing to measure. We are just lucky to have him at the moment and I hope we get this version of him for a good few years.

Yeah the commentary was abysmal. I had to mute it. The 3 of them were talking way way too much. What happened to the co-commentator just popping up with the odd line every so often? And why is there 3 all the time now? Rubbish.
Match was ok though. A lot was Forest missing a bunch of chances, just like the first leg. We were ok. Some very nice spells of play and should have scored more second half.

Johnson massive chance too, kicked it right at Heaton. After another decent Heaton save Sturridge pretty much missed an open net also...

Ah yeah, forgot about the Surridge chance, happened after Maguire came on and he can't cope with playing a high line.
Comfortable night though all in all. Feel much more relaxed watching us play against teams like Forest compared to always being on edge during Ole's reign.

Yeah, I thought Forest were ok and did pose an attacking threat in both legs. But was totally comfortable and looked like we could have gone up a gear if needed. Was interesting/funny that ETH tried Lindelof as a midfielder for the last 10 minutes. I guess with Eriksen and McT out, if another goes down with the current run of games, it might be needed!

Even look at the 2 matches after the final, West Ham for FA Cup and Liverpool. We're gonna have to rotate players for the Leeds games I'd imagine and save our best for Barca and the final. Hopefully Sabitzer can provide some cover with some relatively fresh legs

He's only made his way into the team on the back of being pretty good at producing end product when he has played. Bizarre. |
