Anyone got any ideas for a football obsessed 7 year old? I'll take hilarious suggestions like "a football" too. football shirts are good, my boys collect popular and obscure ones from british clubs and around world, they stick them up on bedroom walls when outgrow them cheap non official kitsmystery shirt in a box
If into FIFA then personalised and real playter FUT cards are always popular, again go up on bedroom walls FUT card
or or from herebouncy off rebounder nets are good for practicing volleys and the like rebound netWhatever you do don't buy an urban ficklip like this , absolute shite and never never buy those cheap shitty 'count the keepy uppy balls' or 'measure speed' balls that every twat buys for boys birthday gifts, Please don't buy

Cheers. Is the quality of those strips? £70 I paid for the official PSG one and that was just the fucking top.

How about a super car / racing experience? Its not football, but I think a lot of people would like it. Obviously he wouldn't be driving

I've bought a fair few now and can't tell the difference, not like the crap £15.00 ones on ebay made of rice paper. Generally takes 3 weeks to come but really good,

Might be pushing it about now then. It's his birth at the end of January so might order him a couple anyway.

One year I bought some cheap knock-off football kits from ebay (from china) for my boys with their names printed on the back, they went down a storm.

***LINGERIE UPDATE***
My ex wife has extorted £700 out of me to fix her boiler. There will be no sexy Christmas lingerie for the current future Mrs GoatApocalypse.

Anyone know much about remote control cars? Any particular make I should be looking for or steering clear of? Looking for something sub £100 which is fast and rugged enough to be worth taking out for a spin on the fields if that's doable at that price.

If it were me, I'd up the budget by say £50+ and get something like a Tamiya package and perhaps add two more battery's off ebay you'd need a can of paint to spray the body too eg www.jadlamracingmodels.com/tamiya-rc-58416-rising-fighter-buggy-1-10-standard-stick-radio-bundle/If funds don't permit that kind of increase I think I'd get something else. The Hornet is a good base entry level model, that model must have been knocking around for 40 years or something, spares for Tamiya stuff is and always will readily be available off ebay and the like. You also get to build the car which is kinda fun too.

It's more that I don't even think he'll play with it much when it comes to budget. I've kind of talked him onto getting one rather than him asking for it as he's barely asked for anything for Christmas.

He's had crap ones and never really bothered with them, so the thinking is now he's a bit older if I get something half decent it might spark some interest. Plus I want one.

Then just get a Hornet and be done with it I kid you not. I've bought three shit RC cars over the years, I think they may have been gifted two others over the years but they're either just shite (too fast) (or too slow) in the house or utterly impractical for outside. I guess I'm biased because as a 13 year old (or something) I really clicked with this kinda stuff. It's only a matter of a year or so until I get the youngest (me) one.

Bought my friend a Lego bouquet of flowers as she's just got back into Lego and i'm really wishing I could just open it up and build it myself but it's sealed :\. I've just had a whole car delivered so I shouldn't really be stuck for things for play with.

You can’t go wrong with the Hornet. I got the Grasshopper back in the summer and it was a blast making it all up. The boy likes it too. We then got a crawler which is small enough for using in the house on dark/wet winter days.
