Right, one of the many reasons I love it celebration of Jesus Christ is that a bunch of seasonal beers show up, and it's not IPAs all the way.
So far:
St Peters winter ale. Fantastic, just like last year, dark velvety chocolatey caramel marvel. Love it.
Anchor Christmas Ale: it's usually my favorite (grudgingly, what do Americans know about her anyway) but this year was a massive disappointment. That caramel... It's BURNT as fuck. Bitter and nasty.

It's not a seasonal ale as it's around all the time, but it's the right time of year to drink Hobgoblin. Had a bottle at the weekend and it was delicious.

Not seasonal either, but there are snowy reindeer on the label so it works. Ginga Kogen beer is a fantastic Japanese weiss beer.

Sainsbury's TTD winter warmer. It's essentially brewed by Young's and now they don't their old winter warmer this is the next best thing.

Saw the title and expected a thread on mulled wine.

Every Christmas I order a 24 pack of Coopers Pale Ale as treat to myself and Mrs Fox from France as it's the only place I know where to get it and it's the best beer ever. In fact I should have it turning up today, but have to try and limit it to one beer each per night otherwise it's gone in a flash.
Also if my Mum asks what do I want for Christmas then this is my standard response, for an extra Christmassy feel I'll say to put a 6 pack of Coopers Stout in there as that is magical stuff.

I'm in Spain though so ordering anything from UK is not worth the hassle or tax these days.
The only place I have found it here is a burger joint called the Red Roo who are run by an Aussie/Spanish family and their selling point is Kangaroo burgers and even they order it from the same place I do. Hopt.
I would highly recommend trying it if you can get it.

You being in Spain would be the obvious thing I'm missing.

I've heard good things about their TTD Xmas Porter too, also brewed by Eagle/Young's. Not tried that myself though.

I like the strong Belgian ones. Delirium Noel, N’Ice Chouffe, that sort of thing. Closer to home, Brew York have one out called “Nightmare of Brew York” and at nearly 10% you won’t need too many before you’re singing all the words. Super high alcohol milk stouts aren’t really my thing though.

Super high alcohol milk stouts aren’t really my thing though. When we lived in Brussles, the Delirium café was our Friday night local. Would even get a free drink as I guess they recognised us as locals as it is normally packed with tourists. Having the absynthe bar across the lane for a night cap was also considerably messy. And the good news. The Coopers has arrived! Can't wait for tonight, it's really something I look forward to this time of year.

Belgian beers are fantastic. My saddest beautiful memory is from a beer hall in Brussels called Mort Subit.
I was a poor student on an InterRail journey and I decided I could afford three beers.
I asked for what they recommended, and halfway through I was so drunk I realized it would only ever be the one beer that day ... 😿
