Don't get me wrong, he's still absolutely amazing and I'll never forget his first world win over Ronnie coincided with Leicester winning the Championship. There was talk of some kind of double parade. |

I'm not a Ronnie fan but at least his snooker is usually entertaining, Selby is miserable to watch most of the time. I'm glad he lost yesterday, some of his play was awful.

And that's ultimately the difference. ROS sees the finish line and increases his focus to maximum, whereas others like Carter can play well but it gets into their head and the focus drops.
