Whedon is a super-creep, but the Tractenberg stuff seems to be a misinterpretation rather than an implication he actually did something (beyond being a rude cunt) to her. Unless there's something beyond the "He wasn't allowed to be alone with her, it was in her contract" thing (I suspect this applied to all male crew/cast), which I've missed. I've seen tottering piles of assumption built on that which are a bit dodgy.

Re: MeToo, I think he's escaped it because despite the obvious creepy abuse of power of a showrunner banging various people who worked on his show (seemingly not the actors but rather the crew/writers/etc.), none of them have come forward saying it was against their will or the like, despite some of them having done that re: other people, and despite him now being pretty powerless/toothless and really digging the hole deeper every time he opens his mouth.

We'll see if that state continues, but if it does, it's probably safe to say he's not in the same "sex abuser" category of creep, but rather the "sleazy fuck" and "abusive boss" category. Notably Warren Ellis survived near-cancellation despite being a "sleazy fuck" because he skirted but didn't get into the actual "sex abuser" category (indeed, the sort of "coalition of victims" of Ellis specifically said they didn't want him cancelled). I don't think Whedon is likely to work again any time soon (if ever), though, because jesus wept - the most recent interview with him is just pure self-indulgent/narcissistic yikes.
