Free on Epic. Visual presentation/game thingy to go with the new release of Kid A Mnesia.
Haven't tried it yet, but looking forward to it. I need some time undisturbed with my headphones.

Oh. I'll bow out then, I'd had enough after Ok Computer/since Jonny Greenwood decided he'd rather play the xylophone with recently removed eunuch knackers

[Draft post deleted, not going to shit up yet another thread]
Radiohead fans love em, sincerely, and that's cool with me.

It's free on PS5 also. As far as I'm aware, it's not a one week deal like on Epic.
Haven't downloaded it yet, but this thread reminded me to register it to my account.
It should make good use of my new Pulse 3D headset, I imagine.

Yeah, and mine was a terrible play on PC Master Race.
I like all of their albums. Do have a soft spot for The Bends though.

Mine too. There's a little harmonic squeal in Black Star which I believe is the best noise ever recorded. Fact!
Just checked it. Correct! At 2:00.

While I've always loved Kid A from start to finish, certain tracks on Amnesiac have kinda spoiled that album for me, namely, Pulk/Pull, Morning Bell and Spinning Plates. Well it just so happens that all three have vastly improved alternative versions on the Kid Amnesiae bonus disc (Pulk as an early version of True Love Waits - who could have guessed, but it works, Morning Bell as a much less dour and waily interlude, and a proper studio recording of the amazing piano version of Plates). So, I've now subbed these three versions into Amnesiac along with a coupled of the little untitled tracks and have totally fallen in love with the result. It's an absolute revelation and I might even prefer this album to Kid A now.

I think their plans to have a physical exhibition being scuppered worked out for the best. I've only wandered round for twenty minutes or so, but the scale of the thing, and the mindfuckery of some of the rooms/spaces would just not work any other way.
I'm a fanboi, but I sincerely would have paid for this (price of an album, not game).

That is all sorts of fucked up! In a good way. My stomach flipped in a few places. Just finished watching Utopia, this felt like being in the pages of the comic.

Not gone through this yet, but I am disappointed that it isn't a VR thing. With my very limited knowledge of it, it seems to be ideal for shoving right in my eyeballs.

From what I’ve “played “ this would be vomitastic on vr.

I had a run through this - genuinely thought it was great.
You do (obviously) need to be a Radiohead fan and to know and like the songs from these two albums in order to get the most enjoyment out of it, but as an experience it’s really quite striking and awe inspiring at times.
There is some wonderful (and unsettling) imagery in the “galleries” you explore and some really neat visual tricks are displayed. I don’t know if a VR version is planned but I imagine that would be really incredible.
I won’t spoil, but I thought the sequence that leads you to, through and beyond ‘How To Disappear Completely’ was simply brilliant.
There’s no game here - I only found one thing to interact with besides just walking through the spaces, but that’s not a criticism. The spaces really are an experience in themselves that you won’t want to rush.
If you like Radiohead I’d say it’s an Essential but definitely Recommended for anyone else. It’s really unique.
