Isn't it rumoured to be coming to GP soon? Sure I saw something the other day or last week.

It's pretty breathtaking until you hit the 30 hour mark and you question can I be bothered to continue doing the same thing over and over again.

Avatar will blatantly come to Gamepass, pretty much every game from ubi has.

Yeah, it's what's stopping me thinking of Outlaws as a must-buy. It doesn't really look outstanding enough for me to not wait it out till it hits Game Pass at some point next year.

Maybe when GP starts costing £200+ a year it may change some of these theoretical equations.
Netflix for example, sometimes wonder how big of a Blu-ray/UHD collection I could have a accrued with the last 8 years worth of Netflix subs. And all stuff I'd actually want to watch/rewatch.
Weird feeling when you cancel a service you've been subscribed to for years, stark reminder that you're left with nothing.

That sort of thing used to bother me a lot, but once you’ve lost a significant chunk of a collection, it’s easier to detach yourself from physical media. Even the games I buy these days I am mentally prepared to lose forever at some point. Through no fault of my own.

In the publisher sale (I think it’s Atari) there was quite a good looking game I hadn’t heard of that had high ratings. Souls-like but where you fight clockwork automatons as an automaton yourself. Forget the name but if anybody likes the sound have a look, I’m sure it was only about twelve quid

Steelrising is pretty good as "one of those". Interesting setting and combat. I didn't finish it but it's in the pile to go back to ( along with Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen, Surge 2, Sekiro, Nioh 2.....…...........) Maybe I should play different types of games!

Felt rude not to nab Mad Max for £3
Never did finish it on PC, but the films have got me in the mood for a bit of post apocalyptic desert action.

Brilliant game, went back to it a couple of months ago, just to mop up various post completion cheveo's I had missed, I think I put about another 30 hours into it! I also have it on ps4/5

What's Mad Max like on Series X - any 60fps goodness? Finding big downside of these new(er) consoles is I'm finding it increasingly hard to go back to 30fps/900p Xbox One games, especially on an OLED set.

Also is it just me or do people feel a bit sick playing 30fps games on the OLED? I've been playing through Half Life 2 and feel a bit nauseous.

Source engine games have always given me motion sicknes, not sure why.
In the sale: The AI Somnium games are 80 & 60% off, the 2nd one hasn't been on sale before. Recommended if you like a, surprisingly dark, VN with a bit of puzzling

Think the only one I've played so far was Callisto Protocol, as the general consensus seemed to be quality over performance mode. That seemed alright once you get over the initial ewwww factor. (LG OLED)

Anyone's "Deals with Gamepass Ultimate and Core" section not updated for 2 weeks?
Mine shows a bunch of games not on offer.

£1.99 for the Blade Runner Remaster on the Xbox Store seems a steal even if just for nostalgia!

The Lego Barry Trotter collection is getting a current gen facelift in the not too distant future. Unfortunately it won't be a free upgrade, but will be discounted for existing owners. No idea by how much or whatever, but for anyone interested the last gen version is on sale for £5.24.

Borderlands 3 - I wonder if it’s as grating as I remember - the gameplay was awesome as were the graphics - but some of the characters were bloody obnoxious. I’ll wager that this deal is cheaper than buying all the DLCs…
Borderlands 2 is definitely in the running for my favourite ever game.

Something that really fucks me off about Digital.
I'm wanting to pick up Avatar. There are three versions, standard, deluxe and ultimate.
For the ultimate edition, I'm always amazed that anyone could get away with charging £110 for a digital game. Madness.
So obviously I keep my eyes out for a sale on the standard version. And yes, Avatar is in the current sale with 60% off... BUT it's always the deluxe or ultimate edition they put on sale, the fucking bastards.
To make it worse, the standard version has been saying for months "not currently available" which is also a total piss take when we are talking about digital items.
It's just such overtly and blatantly anti-consumer and also comes across as deceptive and manipulative.
"Sorry the version you want we have decided not to sell, but good news you can buy the version's where we artificially inflate the price to begin with"

They're all on sale aren't they?
Standard: £27.99 Deluxe: £29.99 - includes shitty weapon pack. Gold: £37.99 - includes season pass. Ultimate: £91.99 - incudes shitty weapon pack and season pass.
Gold is the way to go.
