Is the GTA update worth a separate purchase? I think I would enjoy playing the storyline again, online holds zero interest. Or is the update free if I have the Xbone disc?
I've just picked up what appears to be the entire Batman Arkham collection for £12.49 with a shedload of DLC included. Some of the best games ever for my liking and certainly the most satisfyingly 'DC'. Slightly bothered by the old Digital Foundry reports on the remasters but I figured for the price I can't complain.

It’s not a free update.
I have it on PS5, and the 60fps is really nice. So’s the higher resolution. It’s not an essential purchase though. Not like the remaster turns into Red Dead 2 or anything. It still largely looks the same, just cleaner and smoother. But if you feel like replaying it, it’s the way to go.

Noticed among the usual stuff on sale is 50% off the pretty recent Soul Hackers 2. Good for anyone after a bit more SMT / Persona style games in their lives.

I really need to get back to that to finish it. Shelved it because there were some much needed QoL updates due in a November patch.
It's pretty good, but nowhere near as polished as P5. Worth a shot if you're in the mood for some of that turn based combat.

This is common everywhere nowadays, I'm afraid. I'm not sure how these deals work, but maybe some companies demand that their games never go below a certain amount, no matter how long they have been out.

The X/S version of Warhammer Chaosbane Slayer Edition is on sale for £5 currently if anybody has been wanting to upgrade from the Xbone version. It's not the greatest game in the world, but it's fun enough for that price.

Quantum Break is on sale for £5.75 but only for another day and a half. It is also being removed from Game Pass soon due to licencing issues, which they're trying to resolve and I expect it will be back at some point but if you've got a spare fiver knocking about there are probably worse things you could buy.

Halo MCC is at 75% off for the first time. Might as well get it then, and replace my (useless now I have a Series S) disc copy.

I remember when Halo MCC could be had on CD Keys for £3. Was at that price for ages before 343i properly got it to a decent state.

Tempted to get the Lost Planet trilogy for just over £10 I know LP2 was well-received, but I think it was one of those games made in the wake of Monster Hunter's popularity outburst, and it's probably more multiplayer than single player. Don't know much about LP3 to tell. I also have LP1 on Steam, but it's the Colonies edition, and Capcom only saw it fit to remove GFWL from the standard edition, so I can't even play it anymore... |

1 is very good. 2 is better with co-op, as malek mentioned. Have 3, but never got around to it.
