The Depp/Heard trial seems to have been a bit of a psychopath test. There is so much grotesque content being produced from it and it has legitimised some really shitty takes. Everyone who has got really invested in it sounds fucked in the head.
So I’ve been following the only one that matters; the wagatha christie trial, which has been genuinely hilarious.

No talk on here about the Depp Heard trial? Been watching a bit of it and Heard is looking pretty ridiculous. Constant lying on the stand. Hope they throw the book at her. Been following it quite a bit myself, I'll just say that I relate with personal experience to a lot of what Depp says happened, and Heard is just the most unbelievable witness ever. If she had kept her story simple and claimed that he'd hit her a couple of times she'd probably win the trial easy, but she's clearly invented whole scenarios where she's been brutalised by Chuck Norris throwing her across rooms and savaged in the most disgusting ways, covered in cuts all over her feet, her arms, broken nose, black eyes, bleeding from the vagina, all sorts of stuff in one incident, and then is seen on the James Corden show the next day with absolutely nothing on her. Looking immaculate. And no one has testified to seeing any time that he's hit her, even all the freeloading mates of hers that were staying in his penthouses rent free the whole time that were always there seeing everything that went on. Meanwhile several of them saw her hit him. So yeah, fuck Amber Heard. |

I don't really know what to think about the trial, they both sound like deeply flawed people at best. Some of the livid, white-hot hate directed at Heard from Depp fans is a bit  , though. All this conspiracy shit about how when she was crying she wasn't really crying (she did it for the cameras!), or how she had her mother killed so that she couldn't be a witness. So, so weird. Like, yeah, it sounds like she was pretty abusive. But she can be that without having to be History's Greatest Monster like some of the Depp fans have in their imagination. And having this trial and all the reactions out in the open, feels pretty unseemly to me. It's a huge mess, and nobody is coming out of it looking good. |

Always going on about how much she truly loved him, how much she needed to get him sober, get him to break the cycle of using and abuse. He was clearly in a bad place. But yeah, she'll take drugs and drink in front of him. What true love. There are multiple recordings of him talking to her about her hitting him, which go on for a bit. Never in them does she ever mention any of the abuse which he has allegedly done to her. Seems weird she wouldn't bring that up in their conversation. Pictures/any evidence of what she is saying. So she has pictures and videos of everything. A shit load of him passed out, pictures of broken stuff in the house/hotels, pictures of drugs, videos of him abusing some cupboards. No pictures, no videos, no evidence of anything resembling abuse to her. And what she is saying is extreme. Broken nose multiple times, broken vagina, broken bones, etc, etc. No pictures, no doctors, no anything. Only pictures of her the next day, after suffering a pummelled face from a man wearing 5 huge metal rings, looking fine. She is crazy. |
