Hi guys.
I currently have a pair of Steel Series Arctis headphones that I use with my Series X in conjunction with Dolby Atmos.
In the majority of decent games you have the option to set the audio output, usually between TV Speakers, Surround Sound System and Headphones.
What is the best option to use if I'm using Dolby Atmos with headphones? The obvious answer would be to set it for Headphones but I'm unsure if this affects it positively or negatively when using Atmos.
Any ideas, chaps?

No idea on the Xbox but on some PC games setting it to headset disables atmos, using Arctis Wireless Pro, so I always set it on surround.

I tried the trial and seem to remember that if a game doesn't give a headphone option it will use system defaults and if it doesn't support Atmos the app will 'upscale' the stereo signal which, to me, sounded like stereo but a bit more piercing. I don't think it does any kind of spacial processing.
Edit: this was with astro a50s

I just wish there was a way to get audio from my 360 to my TV.
