I wish to end my neighbour's wheelie bins

I like the idea of a letter. It's less confrontational and allows you to set it all out clearly, especially the impact on you. Send them all the same note and say you've copied to everyone. If they still carry on being dicks, move!

How do they know it’s an old brand of paint stripper? Did they send it to the lab for analysis?

Hearsay from 3 so take with a pinch of salt. When they took it to garage or wherever they went with it to be sorted, the people there recognised it as being the old style that isn't sold anymore. Presumably there's a better form of chemical to strip paint and has changed over years. Shrug.

Old guy from 1 is bed ridden for life unable to walk so he definitely didn't do it. I fully agree that moaning about leaving room for a potential ambulance is stupid. They're just being petty about wanting anyone outside their house. If I can't get outside mine I park outside theirs. Never been moaned at.

I don't really want to end our neighbours, but they've done something today that's fucked me off.

Context; we live in a development and we're an end terrace on a small road and we're right at the end, we're the only house with a drive and all other houses have to park their car outside their neighbours house. So directly outside the house we have a fairly wide road and a car space opposite us with a large wall running down the length of the road.

Due to the layout of the street there are three houses that are completely terraced, with no side access to their house and only a garage to store their bins. But our neighbours have always left their bins by their parking space against the wall (i.e. opposite our house).

Today they've put outside one of those metal bin stores by the side of their parking space in the 'dead space' between the space and the corner of the two walls that connect. Only problem is they've stuffed it full of their bikes and outdoor crap and left the fucking bins outside of the bin store. So we now have a fucking metal box, and two large black bins opposite our house.

I don't want to be unreasonable about this, but they're being fucking obnoxious right? I might not have had too much of an issue if they're given us a heads-up, but they've just done it, so I either have to say something (and we're on good terms, so it could be awkward) and treat it like a joke, actually be honest and say it's not great, or deal with it. All of which are going to cause me some level of anxiety. Sigh...just wanted to vent. Talk me down if I'm being dramatic too, I get it, it's a first world problem.

Also slightly confused as to the crime.

It's hard to describe - directly outside of our houses (we all face a large wall, which backs onto the next street's gardens) is an access road to our houses and then parking spaces between road and the seperating wall.

So I guess it's nobody's land...it's the space where the two walls join - but faces our house and is only about 4 metres from our house. Maybe I'm just annoyed as had a hard week at work so far and being cuntish and need to wind my neck in.

As long as they're being respectful and not excessively loud when using it, there's no harm
